Who leads our school spirit? It would be our Amador
Valley Cheerleaders Our award winning cheerleader team
works as hard as another sport practicing every
afternoon and competing most weekends. This group of
talented performers had the honor of dancing at this
years NFL Pro Bowl in Hawaii as well as attending the
national competiton in previous years. Another team
that doesn't get as much recognition as they should is
our swimming and diving teams. With practice at 5 am
every morning and 4 pm every afternoon it is a wonder
how these stunning athletes still have the strength to
attend class. Cathy Coler, a senior and a nationally
ranked swimmer, says that she spends at least 6 hours
a day swimming, sometimes more than sleeping! All
this hard work has paid off because diving and
swimming have accumalated more than ten EBAL championships.
