However, instead of hockey and skiing, Amador participates in Basketball, Soccer, and Wrestling. Our girls and boys basketball teams are spectacular! Boys’ basketball has won an amazing 18 East Bay Athletic League Championships in the last 30 years, 12 of those won in consecutive years. Girls’ basketball has done just as well with 12 championships in the past 20 years. Also, both girls and boys basketball teams have been Northern California Champions in 1993 and 1999 respectively. Another sport that Amador shines in is soccer. Our school holds the national record for boys’ soccer with an incredible 55 game winning streak spanning over 3 seasons. In addition, they are in the top ten in defense with only six goals scored against them in twenty games. In addition to basketball and soccer, Amador is renowned for its wrestling team.
