Few times demonstrate Amador spirit as much as the week leading up to the big Homecoming dance. When students aren't getting ready for the dance, they're likely involved in class competitions, participating in rallies, or setting up building decorations for their class. All of the classes compete for spirit points and the class that accumulates the most points is declared the winner. It's fun for everyone involved and the whole thing culminates with the dance and football game.

In addition to the dance, there are a ton of other activities. Although we know longer build class floats, we now have something more unique--class skits! Each class is given a theme and they compete to convey Amador spirit in what is almost always a hilarious display. This year the themes were based on periods of time: ranging anywhere from the ancient Egyptians to the distant future.
