The Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) is now in it's second year of hosting an annual student unmanned Aerial (UAV) competition. The competition is aimed at stimulating and fostering interest in this innovative technology and encouraging careers in the field. The competition challenges the students to design, fabricate and demonstrate a system capable of competing a specific and independent aerial operation. This competition is held at the Paux River naval base in Ingles, Maryland (Webster Field).
This will be Cornell's third year entering the competition. This year the competition dates have yet to be annouced.
