The Klient software is a proprietary interface application designed solely to interface to our Barracuda Platform. It is a dummy interface and simply provides real time feedback to the onboard mission and control software. Using the Klient application we can monitor the entire shared memory space in real time as well as do complete vehicle configuration and calibration. From this software we also have quick and readily visible methods of viewing system status indicators as well as position and mission information.

The Klient has been developed in the Visual Studio.Net environment in C# by Karl Schulze. It has been used as an opportunity to explore the new technologies available for RAD programming. The Klient is a very intelligent piece of software with regards to auto updating and maintaining its software sync with the submarine. In order to facilitate this a suite of server side controls have been developed that reside on our primary web server as well as on the sub itself, all of which communicate effectively to insure each end user has latest matching Klient application and pertinent settings.

This portion of the site is dedicated to providing a simple means to download and install the Klient for our team, and to provide the source for any other teams who may wish to get a head start on their own software. Note: all software is provided "as is" without any guarentee of functionality or completeness. I do not have the resources to support this, and as such it is simply available for you to do with as you wish.
